About Me

Hello!

My name is Rea Francesca (Franny) Amano Pallay.

I am a second-year Bachelor of Communication Studies student at MacEwan University in Edmonton, Alberta, focusing on journalism and digital media. Over the past two years, I have built a strong foundation in storytelling, multimedia production, and social media strategy. I have applied these skills through student leadership, media production projects, and content development roles.

I am passionate about telling stories that inform, connect, and inspire change, especially those that highlight social issues, culture, and community voices. My future goals include pursuing a career that includes developing a stronger on-camera presence, specializing in short-form video storytelling that engages audiences on social media, and writing feature stories.

Collaborated with Sheneil Montaque to pitch, produce, and edit a video feature highlighting the Remembrance Day Ceremony at The Loyal Edmonton Regiment Military Museum. Operated a Sony FX6 camera during the live recording and completed post-production in Adobe Premiere.
